I love all the Wyeths. Your piece on the work of Andrew (at the Cummer) is just wonderful! Thanks for writing!

Thank you so, so much! A. Wyeth has become one of my favorites over the years and his family has such talent over generations. Love studying their works!

Love this. You already know how I feel about Wyeth. If that exhibit is still up, I need to go. Enjoyed this essay.

Rebecca, I really enjoyed this! I especially liked this line, "But a closer examination shows gentle nuances offering contemplation on the impermanence of life, the battle of living itself, and the interconnectedness of man and nature." That is so well said and so true. Wyeth is one of my favorite painters because of this.

This past year, I did a writing project that was bookended by two Wyeth paintings. He is so inspiring and his paintings always leave me amazed. The museum here in Greenville, SC has a lot of his works. Hopefully you can visit sometime to see them!

Thank you so much for reading! The writing project you mentioned sounds wonderful! I had no idea a collection of his works is available in Greenville. I’ll have to visit! I’m from Columbia so I get up to SC a good bit :)
