This Louisa May Alcott poem honored her father; its legacy honors all who tend to a life of virtue
A beautiful echo of Sir Edward Dyer's poem "My Mind to Me a Kingdom Is": https://classicpoems.substack.com/p/my-mind-to-me-a-kingdom-is
Beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing this poem!
What a nice story and poem! What would I do without you to supply me with verse?
Thank you for reading and sharing! I'm so glad the poetry is resonating with you! <3
So beautifully expressed by both you and the poet. You do your father proud (even if you did knock his jaw out of whack when you were very young and you two were sword fighting with those big soft drink bottles. :)
